The minimum required documents for boat loans are: Photo ID (Driver’s Licence or Passport) Income Proof (Last 2 Payslips) or 90 Days Bank Statements (if self employed)

What credit score do you need for a boat loan depends on the individual lenders credit criteria. While having a higher credit score (700+) will give you more lenders to choose from and better rates, a lower credit score will not stop you from gaining marine finance. It may mean your choices are limited or the lenders may want a deposit to go toward the loan.
